SATAN IS THE FATHER OF LIES

Father of Lies

Since Adam and Eve, Satan has been using the same trick. He makes us believe that what we know is bad is actually good. He whispers that evil is progress, compassion, or fairness. And we—God’s people—too often fall for it. Satan is the Father of Lies (John 8:44).

Here are some of his lies today, and God’s truth that exposes them.

Abortion

SATAN: Abortion is okay if the child is a product of rape… or if the mother’s life is at risk. And if that’s okay, then it’s okay for the poor mother who can’t afford a child. And if that’s okay, then it’s okay when a pregnancy is just inconvenient. See? It’s progress—we’ve learned how to “fix” mistakes. Nice job, Satan.

TRUTH: Conception is always a gift from God. A child’s very existence is God’s doing. Abortion will always be an abomination in His eyes. Satan has convinced people that it’s a “choice” instead of a blessing. Pray for them.

Gender Identity

SATAN: You don’t have to accept what God made you. If you feel different, change yourself. Live however you want—it’s your life. And you should be celebrated for being “brave.”

TRUTH: God made male and female in His own image. Transgender identities are self-made images, not God-made. It is contrary to His plan. Pray for them.

Sexuality and Marriage

SATAN: Love is love. If you love someone of the same sex, why not marry them? Marriage is just paperwork anyway, and hey—it helps with your taxes.

TRUTH: Marriage was created by God with Adam and Eve. Eve was made for Adam, not Adam for Adam, or Eve for Eve. Same-sex marriage is not honored by God, only by governments. It is an unnatural abomination, and it drives people farther from Him. Pray for them.

Borders and Immigration

SATAN: Everyone deserves to come in, no matter how. Give them benefits, IDs, money, healthcare, even voting rights. They can wave their country’s flag—it’s patriotic. After all, doesn’t the Statue of Liberty invite them? Again, nice job Lucifer.

TRUTH: God established borders for Israel. Foreigners needed permission even to pass through. Borders are for order. Yes, America welcomes the weary—but to stay, you pledge allegiance to this flag, not the one you left. It is not lawful to abuse America’s generosity, nor to hire illegals “under the table.” Pray for those who must leave, and pray that when they return legally, America becomes their true home.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)

SATAN: DEI ensures no one is left out. Special groups deserve special treatment—even quotas. It’s only fair.

TRUTH: God shows no favoritism (Acts 10:34). DEI does. It spotlights certain groups while quietly pushing others aside. It promotes mediocrity, not excellence. Hardworking, qualified people are bypassed for the sake of quotas. That is not fairness—it is corruption. Pray for workplaces and schools to return to merit and honesty.

Homelessness

SATAN: Homelessness can’t be solved. They’ve slipped through the cracks. Just let them build tents—it’s the humane thing to do.

TRUTH: Christ Himself was homeless. He told us to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and shelter the poor (Matthew 25:35–40). Yet our homeless are left on the streets. If our cities can house illegal immigrants in hotels, they can house Americans who are destitute. Pray for compassion that leads to action.

Hate

SATAN: Hate works. Hate gives you power. Hate fuels change. Hate your leaders—it makes you stronger than them. Hate divides good from evil.

TRUTH: “Whoever hates his brother is a murderer” (1 John 3:15). Hate is not power—it is poison. Much of the hate for President Trump came from lies that have since been debunked. But lies move fast. As Mark Twain said, “A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on his shoes.” Satan uses that every day. Pray for love even toward enemies.

To be crystal clear on this, I do not despise people who identify with any of these; I simply will not subscribe to the lies. The lies to me, are very separate from the people who have believed them.

Remember: Satan is the Father of Lies

Satan’s methods haven’t changed. He calls evil good, and good evil. But God’s Word unmasks every lie.

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” (Ephesians 6:10-17)
