CHRISTIANITY AND TRANSGENDERISM

There are two genders. I didn’t need the current administration to tell me that. Genesis 1:27 already told me: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” That’s it. Two.
Transgenderism says otherwise. It says, “What God made isn’t good enough—I’ll remake myself in my own image.” Christians should have a problem with that. If God’s creation isn’t good enough, then what else isn’t? That’s a very slippery slope.
And here’s the heartbreak: according to a 2023 UCLA study, about one-third of trans-identifying people have attempted suicide, and nearly half have considered it. These aren’t just numbers. They’re lives, hurting and broken. Should Christians celebrate this? Should we affirm what leads to such despair? Of course not.
Instead, we should pray. Minister. Find the source of their pain and bring the hope of Christ to it. Love them, care for them, but don’t conform to demands that we cheer for what God calls confusion. Once a transition is made, they are still either a man or a woman in God’s eyes. They don’t need a spotlight; they need a Savior.
So we pray: Lord, open their eyes. Teach them Your love is deeper than any applause they seek from the world. Remind us that compassion never means compromise.
To be crystal clear, I do not possess ill will in my heart for these people. I believe they are re-creating a personage within their will, and not the will of God's. I do pray they realize they were perfection in the eyes of God, the way they were born.
